Attitudes and values

(Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation no. 3 of 2000, on national standards of higher education)

1.     Have faith in Almighty God and be able to show a religious attitude;

2.     Uphold human values ​​in conducting duties based on religion, morals, and ethics;

3.     Be a proud citizen and love the homeland, have nationalism and a sense of responsibility towards the state and nation;

4.     Contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in society, nation, and state based on Pancasila;

5.     Work together and have social sensitivity, concern for society and the environment, and appreciate the diversity of cultures, views, religions, beliefs, and the original opinions or findings of others;

General Skills

1.     Be able to work in the main area of ​​expertise for a specific type of work, and have work competency that is at least equivalent to the professional work competency standards;

2.     Be able to make independent decisions in carrying out professional work based on logical, critical, systematic and creative thinking;

3.     Be able to prepare reports or working papers or produce design work in their field of expertise based on design rules and standard procedures, as well as their professional code of ethics, which can be accessed by the academic community;

Knowledge

1.   Master the application theory in the basic scientific fields of physiotherapy (foundations): anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, biophysical technology, and formulate it in various problems related to physiotherapy services;

2.   Master the application theory of national and global health service systems, factual knowledge about the physiotherapy legislation information system, and the limits of physiotherapist authority;

3.   Master the application theory of implementing physiotherapy care (promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative) carried out independently or in groups in the scientific fields of Physiotherapy Neuromuscular, Musculoskeletal, Cardiopulmonary, Cardiovascular, Integumentary, Pediatrics/Growth and Development, Sports/Wellness, Geriatrics, Community, Women’s Health, K3, and Ergonomics;

4.   Mastering science and technology, therapeutic communication, and psychosocial issues related to movement and function problems required as a basis for physiotherapy services;

5.   Master the concepts and principles of clinical reasoning in applying scientific research results to solve physiotherapy and community problems;

Specific Skills

1. Be able to apply application theory to the basic scientific fields of physiotherapy (foundations): anatomy, physiology, pathology, biomechanics, biophysical technology and formulate it in various problems related to physiotherapy services;

2. Be able to apply, develop, analyze and evaluate physiotherapy care, with the latest science and technology, in a broad and hierarchical scope with measurable quality and quantity;

3. Be able to analyze and determine situations that worsen the patient’s condition (red flag) for referral to other medical/health personnel;

4. Be able to apply basic life support procedures in emergency/disaster situations by selecting and applying appropriate methods, according to standards and authority;

5. Be able to implement effective communication both in inter- and inter-professional collaboration and therapeutic communication to clients and/or families by providing accurate information about physiotherapy care;

6. Be able to implement efforts to prevent infection transmission in accordance with SOP (standard operating procedure);

7. Be able to manage, evaluate and be responsible for personal and group performance in physiotherapy services in accordance with legality and the physiotherapy code of ethics;

8. Be able to conduct clinical research/case studies, apply research results in physiotherapy practice and develop physiotherapy service models as well as publish the results of physiotherapy clinical research;

9. Be able to manage the development of work competencies independently and follow developments in physiotherapy with continuous learning (Continuous Professional Development)
